The town of Biddeford and its sister communities of Saco and Old Orchard Beach are located about 15 miles south of Portland, ME along the I-95 which is also known as Maine turnpike.
The main point of interest in this area is Old Orchard Beach a 7-mile long sandy beach, offering beach and sea recreation activities throughout the year. Along the coast are historic Wood Island Lighthouse and the Rachel Carson U.S. Wildlife Preserve.
